God is only making us stronger by giving us obstacles in our life to live through. Ward- I agree, God planned it to happen. If he wanted this all to stop then he easily would. God knows everything that is going to happen. Genetic engineering is a bad thing because it fixes people, that is part of Gods plan. If God didnt want it to happen it wouldnt be there. Genetic engineering is not playing the role of God. Genetic engineering, however, is part of God's plan. He would not give us the ability to create the technology and medicines we use today if he was not okay with us using them. I think that genetic engineering is good for cases of illness and serious physical problems. However, I don't think that we should be allowed to change simple things like hair color and height. I think those parts of us make us who we are and, if those things are taken away, eventually everyone would be the same and have no individuality, which i think is extremely important... I am mui impressed. I think that God invented doctors to invent medicine so that we wouldn't be in so much pain. I also think that everything happens for a reason.
